IPC-A-610 is a theoretical course that can strengthenproductivity and competitiveness in a time where customers requiremanufacturing to be performed in accordance with IPC’s internationallyacclaimed standards.

The participants will learn how to perform objectiveassessments for product approval and rejection in accordance with IPC-classifications1, 2 and 3.

The foundation of the course is IPC- A-610,'Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies'.

In this trainer course the participants are trainedand certified as CIT (Certified IPC Trainers) who are qualified to perform companyinternal training of operators (Certified IPC Specialists - CIS). Theseoperators will be assessing approval-, rejection- and process indication-limitswithin the three classifications in the IPC-A-610 standard.

After completing and passing the theoretical test, a certificatewill be issued that is valid for two years – and access to online instructionmaterial for the training of CIS will be granted.

Please note! To qualify for renewal, a CIT shall conduct at least one (1) IPC CIS coursea year. The CIT must train a minimum of 5 CIS candidates during theirtwenty-four-month certification period.

·      Tests inknowledge and understanding of the requirements in the standard, and IPCpolicies and procedures in general

The course isaimed at production engineers, quality assurance engineers, designers andtrained operators, who need to document their knowledge of instructingoperators in accordance with IPC-A-610 specifications.
