Certified IPC Specialist (EPF R19/R34)


IPC-A-610 is a theoretical course which can increase productivity and the competitive capacity in a time where more and more customers require the companies' productions to comply with the internationally recognized specifications of IPC.

During the course the participants learn how to objectively evaluate acceptance-, defect- and process indicator conditions according to IPC classifications 1, 2 and 3 in order for them to pass the theoretical test as Certified IPC Specialist and receive a certificate with a validity of two years.

The foundation of the course is IPC-A-610 'Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies'.

  • Purpose and application of IPC-A-610
  • Handling Electronic assemblies (ESD etc.)
  • Hardware installation
  • Through-hole technology
  • Terminal connections
  • Soldering acceptability requirements
  • Cleanliness
  • Marking off PCB
  • Coatings (conformal coating/Solder resist coating)
  • Laminate conditions
  • Discrete wiring
  • Surface Mount Assemblies (SMT)
  • Theoretical test
The course is especially designed for engineers in production and quality, constructors/designers as well as operators who must - or would like to - be able to document knowledge of the specifications of IPC-A-610.




Price per participant: DKK 7.800 including course materials, Workmanship Specification, refreshments and lunch.
