Rework, repairs and modification - Certified IPC Trainer

During the course the participants become qualified to manage the internal training of operators who carry out rework, repairs and modifications according to IPC-7711 and IPC-7721. When the participants have documented their practical and theoretical skills by passing a test an IPC Trainer certificate will be issued. The certificate is valid for two years.

Among other things the following will be focused on both practically and theoretically:

• Product classifications, skill levels, tools and materials
• Basic surface mount and through hole component removal
• Land preparation and component installation
• Primary heating methods: conductive, convective, etc.
• Handling electronic assemblies
• Wire splicing procedures
• Through hole component removal and installation
• Chip and MELF rework procedures
• SOIC/SOT, J-lead and QFP rework
• Printed wiring board circuit and laminate repair
• Conformal coating removal

The course is especially designed for experienced operators, constructors/designers and engineers in quality who must be able to show a documented knowledge of training operators according to the specifications of IPC.

Price per participant: DKK 19.300 including course materials (IPC-7711/7721, instructor guide with CD-Rom, Trainer student handbook, list of equipment, printable files of operator proficiency student handbook, examination paper, copy of IPC-RM-77), refreshments and lunch.
